Kaleo Music Academy was formed In Summer 2023, when Basildon Music Academy and Kaleo Music School decided to join forces and merge.

Basildon Music Academy had been working with the community and providing musical tuition for over 25 years. And while Kaleo by comparison, was a much younger music school, they were still very well established and had established a great working relationship within the Thurrock Communities. Both music schools already had a good working relationship and it was a natural progression for the two music schools to merge and share resources and skills.

Why not continue to operate as Basildon Music Academy? The Basildon name is no longer a true reflection of what we do and who we work with. Not only do our students travel from all over the South of Essex, but we we work with Schools, venues, businesses and community projects  from all over the South of Essex.
